I enjoyed this book and look forward to my next book by Melanie Shawn. Loving Jackson is book 10 of the Wishing Well, Texas Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

As a fan of Anne of Green Gables and other fun references in the story, I enjoyed the story. The only downfall for me was that there was not a lot of suspense. You knew both characters were head over heels for each other the entire time. I like a story with some mystery or nemesis to love. Everyone loves both characters except for one character that is never present in the story (Gio). Even if Gio made an appearance it would have added to the dynamics of the story.
